Protocols:

Before Treatment:

Purchase a good-quality electric heating pad (see the Healing Resources page for my recommendation).

Wear warm, comfortable, athletic-type clothing.

If possible, keep your schedule clear and plan for the day to be restful.

Avoid caffeine for at least several hours, if not the entire day before treatment.

💆 During Treatment:

Your most important focus during treatment is continuous, gentle breathing. Slow, deep breaths in and slow, deep breaths out.

Allow yourself to enter a calm, meditative state.

🧘 After Treatment

Take the day to rest and relax as much as possible.

Allow your body to integrate and adjust.

Avoid strenuous work, exercise, or heavy lifting (including children, pets, or groceries).

Avoid repetitive motions such as cooking or household repairs.

Refrain from playing musical instruments temporarily.

Avoid wearing hats, helmets, headbands, swim caps, goggles, and tight-fitting glasses, bra straps, or belts.

Avoid chewing tough foods such as steak and gum.
