π My Storyβ¦
During my formative years of training and into the first few years of my practice, I was nearly blind. After routine eye surgery in 2013, I lost the majority of my vision and had to rely almost entirely on the sensory receptors in my hands and fingers until my eyesight was finally restored in 2020.
For seven years, my sense of touch became my primary way of reading the body. Through that experience, I developed an extraordinary ability to perceive even the most subtle areas of pain, tension, and misalignment, allowing me to pinpoint root causes with precision and perform dozens of adjustments each session.
Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of patients from across Canada and internationally, helping them recover from a wide range of conditions including: head and neck injuries, post-concussion syndrome (PCS), headaches, migraines, whiplash, deviated septum, back and shoulder injuries, scoliosis, sciatica, pelvic problems, digestive issues, breathing difficulties, hand, wrist, elbow, hip, knee, ankle and foot injuries, pre and post-pregnancy, infantile colic and more.
While I treat all areas of the body, my deepest specialization is working with head and neck injuries, particularly PCS. I believe that prolonged symptoms of PCS originate from subtle cranial bone misalignments caused by forces of impact to the head. Realigning the cranial bones is like solving a jigsaw puzzle and is more of an art than a science. In time, I aim to help advance the way PCS is understood and treated around the world.
